Welcome to the Joyful Stars May Blog Hop.  If you are coming from  Krista's Blog, you are on the right path.  If you get lost along the way, just go to Joyce's Blog for a complete list of participants.Today, I'm excited to share a "Sweet" card.  It was intended as a birthday card, but you can also use it as a Mother's Day card just by changing the sentiment inside.  The card was inspired by one on Pinterest at KB Papercrafts here

The cupcakes and scroll sign were cut using the Artiste Cartridge.  The scallop border was cut using Art Philosophy.  The awning uses our new striped embossing folder and then was swiped with Lagoon Ink.  If you would like more detailed cutting information, just leave a comment and I will send you the details.

Here is a peek at the inside.  The frame is cut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  You could change the sentiment to use it for a Mother's Day card.
Thanks for visiting this month. Now hop on over to Helen's Blog to see her wonderful creation.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms too!

  1. Awesome technique for creating the awning!

  2. What a cute card! :) At first I thought the stripes were from Skylark paper pack, but then read how you did it! Will have to store that technique info in my brain file :) TFS!

  3. I love the vibrant color combination!

  4. This is one cute cupcake card, Betty! Great way of showing how to use Cricut collections to make cards!

  5. I like how you made it look like a bake shop - very cute!
