Season of Joy Treat Holders for Joyful Stars December Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars December Blog Hop.  Here we are, at the end of another year and this is our last hop for 2018.  Thanks so much for joining us on our creative journey.  If you have come from Michelle's Blog, then you are on the right track.  If you get lost along the way, you will find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog.  Today, I have a Christmas treat holder to show you.  I used the Season of Joy Cricut Cartridge to cut the elf feet, sentiment and costume.  The cartridge has a lot of must have Christmas images.  Since Elf is our favorite family movie, I  especially wanted to use the elf images.  The "elf" legs are candy in long bags.

Here are the basic images in this fabulous cartridge.  It also contains a 3-D Christmas Village and adorable 3-D treat holders.

Here you can see that I cut two shoes.  I tried to make it free standing, however the "costume" was top heavy so it is leaning on the green branches.  I'm sure some "paper engineers" could figure out how to make it stand alone.

My inspiration for the treat holder was another talented Close To My Heart Consultant, Kelly Fitzgerald.  She shared a treat bag on one of our consultant groups.  Here are two similar bags - these are bags with a handle.  They are large enough to hold a small gift.

The first one uses paper from "Tis The Season -  this packet has traditional Christmas colors.

This bag uses paper from the Oh What Fun collection.  The colors are bright and cheerful - they are perfect for scrapbooking your snow photos.
I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Be sure to come back and join us on January 10, 2019.

Now it is time to hop on over to Joyce Gough's Blog to see her creation.
