Welcome to the Joyful Stars March Blog Hop. If you are coming from Andrea's Blog, then you are on the right track. If you get lost along the way, just stop by Joyce's Blog, for a complete list of "hoppers".
Thanks so much for joining us this month. It is starting to warm up a bit here in the East. In fact, most of the snow is finally gone! This month, I made a 5 x 7 card using the new Timberline Workshop on the Go paper and stamp set. The patterns and colors are very earthy and masculine - perfect for "Guy" cards and outdoor layouts.
The card uses the Artbooking overlay cut at 4 1/2" real dial size (page 73 of the booklet) in Bamboo Cardstock. The overlay is backed with the Timberline B&T paper that looks like constellations. The "No Limits" stamp is stamped on Bamboo CS using Pacifica Ink. Pacifica is not one of the colors used in the packet, however, when you stamp on a shaded base like Bamboo, it mutes the ink color so it matches the B&T almost perfectly. It is backed with Whisper CS and raised using mounting tape. This card would make a great card of encouragement or graduation card.
Now, it is time for you to hop to Elizabeth's Blog.
I love the manly-ness of this card, always good to see your work!
ReplyDeleteI love your card, especially since I used that Cricut cut for a Christmas card. It's great to see it in a different way.
ReplyDeleteThat Timberline constellation paper is one of my favorites and with that sentiment it's a great card!
