Joyful Stars January Blog Hop

Happy New Year and welcome to the Joyful Stars Blog hop.  Thank you for joining us today.  If you have come from Joyce's Blog, then you are on the right path.  It is a circular hop so you can start out anywhere and you will know you have seen all the artwork when you get back to the first blog. Close to my Heart has a brand new Idea Book for January and February.  Today, I have some cards made using the Spruced Up Cardmaking Kit.  The flowers are beautiful and the I really love the sentiments.  If you have not tried any of our kits, I highly recommend them.  The kits contain excellent cutting and assembly instructions.
The floral bouquet is so delicate looking!  You could use it for many occasions - anniversary, birthday, thinking of you as well as comfort or sympathy.

Here is another card from the kit.

The third card uses some paper from the kit, Silver Foil Paper and the the retired stamp set C1812 Heart Patterns.  It would make a great anniversary or Valentine card.

Complete Creativity Christmas Card for Joyful Stars December Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars December Blog Hop.  Thank you for joining us today.  If you have come from Krista's Blog, then you are on the right track. Today, I have a Christmas card and scrapbook page to share with you.  It uses X7251B, the new Cedar and Pine Paper Packet and Complete Creativity - the new exclusive Close To My Heart Cricut Cartridge. It is available though my Cricut affiliate link.  In fact, now ALL of the Close to my Heart Cricut cartridges are available as digital cartridges!

This page was pre-designed and ready to cut in the Complete Creativity Cartridge.  All I did was click "Make It."

Here is a close up of the layers.

To make the card, I started with the scrapbook page in design space and deleted all the images except the pionsettia.  Then I changed the size. Easy Peasy!   There are so many fabulous images and elements on this cartridge.  Here is a link to the Design Space File for the poinsettia.  You must purchase the cartridge to use this file.

The card also uses French Vanilla Cardstock, Kraft Paper, Goldenrod Stickles and S1912 Reindeer Crossing, the December Stamp of the Month.

I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.  Be sure to stop back on January 10 to see some brand new products!
Now it is off to Marie's Blog to see her creation this month.

Holly Jolly Elf Layout for Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars November Blog Hop.  Thanks for joining us today.  If you have come from Krista's Blog, then you are on the right track.  We have a brand new idea book full of Holiday products and ideas.  One product in particular, is a MUST HAVE in my opinion.  The Holly Jolly Cardmaking Workshop Kit G1191 has an adorable elf stamp and thin cuts along with some sentiments, a present, sign and holly leaf.  The kit is designed to create 16 cards, 4 each of 4 designs.

I made the cards and then decided to use the elf on a scrapbook page.

To create this layout, I also purchased X7250S the Holly Jolly Paper Packet and Sticker Sheet.  I also used the fabulous new Close to my Heart exclusive Cricut Cartridge,
This digital cartridge includes all the pieces you need to create fabulous cards and scrapbook pages for a variety of themes and occasions, including Christmas, Halloween, outdoors, and more!  There are pre-designed scrapbook pages but you can detach the images and use them for any type of project.  I used the merry, merry, merry and the Christmas banner from the cartridge on my layout.

Here is a close up view of the elf - he is holding the sign stamped with the year.  Isn't he so cute?  The presents were fussy cut from the printed paper and some of them use mounting tape for dimension.  I also used the green and diamond Stickles for some shimmer.

Thanks so much for joining us today.  Now it is time to hop on over to Marie Flayer's blog to see her crafty creation!

Hawthorn Cards for the October Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Happy Fall and welcome to the Joyful Stars October Blog Hop.  If you have arrived from Joyce Gough's Blog, then you are on the right track.  It is a circular hop so you can start anywhere and you will know you are finished when you arrive back at the first blog.
Today, I have two cards to share with you.
This background of this card was made using D1887 Strokes of an Artist Stamp Set.  Then I used  Z3537 Perk Up Stamp Set and Thin Cuts to make the coffee cup and stamp the sentiment.  The pumpkin is from the Z3532 Autumn Blessing Stamp Set.
