Grateful Hearts Cards for the Joyful Stars October Blog Hop
Welcome to the Joyful Stars October Blog Hop. Thank you for joining us today. If you have come from Michelle's Blog, then you are on the right track. If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog. Today, I have cards made with the Grateful Heart Paper Pack. Of course, this is my favorite paper pack since fall is my favorite season! Each of the Close To My Heart Paper Packs has a cards workshop kit. This card uses one of the patterns from the kit. The butterfly and sentiment are from the Grateful Heart Cardmaking set.
The butterfly was heat embossed and I used the Clear Shimmer Pen to pick up ink from the lid of the coordinating stamp pads. It is so pretty and it sparkles in person. The shimmer pen is a great option to add color with ink or the watercolor pencils.
This card uses a wreath from the Flower Market cartridge. All of the leaves and greens are cut with the Flower Market Cartridge as well.
I hope you enjoy all of beautiful artwork on our hop!

Close to My Heart Shaker Window Cards for the Joyful Stars September Blog Hop
Welcome to the Joyful Stars September Blog Hop. Thanks so much for joining us today. If you are coming from Michelle's Blog then you are on the right track. If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog. Today, I have two cards to show you. They both use the new Shaker Window and Confetti Thin Cuts and Shaker Window Foam and Acetate. These products make shakers cards so easy and addicting too!
The first cards uses the new Hello Pumpkin paper. It is a very versatile paper pack - it is not just for Halloween. So I decided to make a Disney theme shaker card. I cut the top of the "shaker" and two additional circles out of Black Glitter Paper to make a "mouse" head. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set. It was just too perfect not to use it!
The second card uses the new 'Tis the Season Paper Packet. The shaker portion is "hung" on the card like an ornament with the fabulous New England Ivy Burlap Ribbon. I used the Silver Sequins and colored them red and green with my Shin Han Markers!

Here's To You and Documented Cards for Joyful Stars August Blog Hop
Welcome to the Joyful Stars August Blog Hop. Thanks for joining us this month. If you have arrive from Michelle's Blog then you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog. I have been working on the Here's To You kit that is a special available until the end of August. The kit makes 7 beautiful cards and a scrapbook page. There are four exclusive stamps in the kit too!
Today I have a card that I made using one of the stamps in the kit. The stamps are beautiful and I thought the size of it would make a lovely 5 X 7 card. The paper is from the Documented paper pack. The sentiment is embossed in white and it really stands out on the Bashful cardstock.
The second card uses the Rose Embossing Folder that comes in the Here's To You kit. First, I embossed a piece (on the flat side) of White Daisy with the Rose Embossing Folder. Then, I put Bashful Ink on the inside of the folder and embossed another piece of White Daisy cardstock. It does not show up very well in my photo, but the Bashful Ink gives a very light pink to the areas between the raised lines. The inked piece lines up perfectly with the white piece so the pattern is continuous.
The sentiment "On this day" is from the CTMH Exclusive Artbooking cartridge - you can find the image on page 38 of the booklet. I cut the image four times in white daisy and then once in Bashful Glitter paper and glued them all together using Liquid Glass. This raises the sentiment above the embossed card and really gives it dimension. I put the stacked sentiment on top of inked embossed paper and traced it and cut it out the shape. Then I glued the "On this Day" to the cut piece of embossed paper and matched it up with the White Daisy piece. I added a few Mini Sparkles as embellishments and adhered the white piece to a 5 X 7 Bashful card base.
The Here's To You special is only available until August 31 so be sure to contact your consultant to order yours today!

Masculine Birthday Card
Hope you are enjoying this summer weather - or at least tolerating it well! Today I have a card I made recently for my teenage nephew's birthday. So I wanted something masculine and not childish.
I used the CTMH retired "Happy" thin cut and cut the birthday using the CTMH Artistry font. The striped paper was made using the Shin Han markers by making free hand stripes. The colors are Peacock, and the retired Whisper and Slate.
