Joyful Stars August Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the Joyful Stars August Blog Hop. If you have come from Krista's Blog, then you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog. August is an exciting month - it is the debut of the brand new Annual Inspirations! You can view it HERE. It is full of hundreds of fabulous new products. One of my favorites is the new Cricut Collection, You Are Here. Take a look at all the awesome images HERE. The Just Married Car image is on page 17 of the booklet. The car outline (Icon 5 Shift) was cut in the new silver foil paper. This paper cuts so cleanly on the Cricut machine! And I used the Shin Han Markers to add some color to the silver.
Products used:
Z3389 You Are Here

The white background is embossed with the new Rose Embossing Folder.

Joyful Stars July Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the July Joyful Stars Blog Hop. I hope you are enjoying your summer! The hop is circular, so you can start anywhere. You will know you are finished when you arrive back at the first blog. If you are following in order, you should have arrived from Krista's Blog. You can find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog HERE. Today I have a simple treat holder to show you that is from our retired Art Philosophy Cartridge. Each month, I make some kind of treat for the croppers who attend my monthly all day crop. It is a simple project that can hold many different treats. The box is made from Kraft Cardstock and the No Worries Paper Pack.
You can find the box on page 23 of the Art Philosophy booklet. It is font layer/shift cut at 5 3/4". I also used CTMH retired burlap ribbon. It works perfectly with the No Worries Striped B & T paper. I also cut Circle 2 ( on page 31 of the booklet) in White CS at 1 1/2" and at 1 3/4"in Sapphire CS. If you want to add a little tag, I used Tag 2 (on page 40) cut at 3/4" in White CS.
Now it is time to hop over to Andrea's Blog.

Joyful Stars June BLog Hop
Welcome to the Joyful Stars June Blog Hop. I am so glad that you decided to join us today. If you came from Michelle's Blog, then you are on the right track. You can find the complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog. Today, I am using some beautiful new paper from the new Seasonal Expressions Book called No Worries. I also added Cranberry Cardstock since there was so much red in my photos. I apologize for the poor quality photo - I am working on taking another one. The papers in the packet are perfect for summer and beach photos.
Here is a link to the No Worries Paper Packet so you can see all the beautiful colors and patterns.
Here is a close up of each page. The wood grain paper is perfect for a page about the boardwalk! The letters were cut using the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge and then put though the embosser using Z3248 Wood Slats Embossing Folder. The page is embellished with the No Worries sequins.

Joyful Stars May Blog Hop
Welcome to the Joyful Stars May Blog Hop. I'm glad you could join us this month. If you came from Michelle's Blog then you are on the right track. If you get lost along the way, you will find a complete list of participants HERE on Joyce's Blog. Today, I have a home decor project to share with you. We needed some artwork for our newly remodeled bathroom. I could not find the right color combination and size so I decided to try my hand at making them. The designs are overlays from the CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. The arrow design is found on page 82 of the booklet. The overlay was cut in a dark gray and then cut again using the coordinating colors.
The circle design was another Artbooking overlay found on page 45 of the booklet. I used Cricut Craft Room to "stretch" the design. I wanted it to look a bit mid-century modern. The frames are molded dark gray from AC Moore. Once I found the right color combination, they went together quite quickly.
The colors used are Pear, Lagoon, Whisper and Pacifica. The dark gray and printed background are from a paper pack in my stash. They look great in the bathroom and I am working on a valance for the window. The valance will be similar to the Pear color with some grey trim.
Time to hop on over to Marie's Blog to see her creation this month.

Joyful Stars April Blog Hop
Happy Spring and welcome to the Joyful Stars April Blog Hop. If you have come from Michelle's Blog, then you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of hoppers HERE
on Joyce's Blog. Today, I have a card made using the Hello Lovely paper
pack. It is called "Upright Diamond Fold card. You can find a
tutorial on how to make the card at Splitcoast Stampers HERE.
The large flower, leaves and greenery were made using the Flower Market
Cricut Cartridge and the smaller rolled roses were made using the Art
Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. Since this card has a lot of dimension, it
would be best as a "hand delivered" card. It requires a bubble wrap
envelope if you want to actually mail it.
The Picture My Life Card included in the Hello Lovely Paper Packet is used on the inside of the card.
