Christmas Cards For the Joyful Stars October Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Joyful Stars October Blog Hop.  Thank you for joining us today.  If you have come from Joyce's Blog, then you are on the right track.
I have two Christmas cards that use some products that can be used for other occasions as well. The first one is a slimline card that uses the Comfort and Joy paper pack and D1977 Every Bit of Wonderful Stamp Set for Operation Smile. Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that provides surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates for children around the world. When you purchase this stamp set, $7 of the proceeds goes to help with their life-changing missions.  The flowers are heat embossed using the Z8000 Black Pigment pad, clear embossing powder and colored using the Triblend Markers.  The squares are Z4259 Stitched Square Frames. "Joy" is from Z4046 Beary Christmas Cardmaking Stamps and Thin Cuts that is not in the catalog but it is available in the online section of my website.

The second card uses Z3679 the new Olive Branches Background Die and Z4187 Stitched Ovals Thin Cuts.  The background was cut in X6053 Avocado cardstock and I colored the flowers with Z2497 Dark Red TriBlend marker.

Remember to stop back next month to see more fabulous artwork.

Now it is time to hop on over to Krista's Blog.

  1. The stitched oval goes good with the olive thin cuts. Have not made a slimline card yet. Thanks
