Joyful Stars August Blog Hop

I'm so happy you could join us for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop this month.  If you are coming from Janice's Blog, then you are on the right track.  It is a circular hop, so you can start anywhere and continue until you come back to the first one.  If you get lost anywhere along the way, you can always visit Joyce's Blog for a complete list of participants.  Today, I have a two cards to share.  They both use the X7185B Scaredy Cat paper collection.  The first card uses the August Stamp of the Month, What a Hoot.  It includes two owls, two sentiments and lots of cute accessories.  It is a great seasonal set and perfect for Halloween cards.  The best part is that you can get it for just $5 with a $50 purchase!

It is fun to stamp large open image stamps directly onto the Background and Texture Paper.  This technique allows you to easily add color and texture to your stamped image.  The images were then fussy cut and added to the card.
The second card uses D1605 Halloween Greetings.  The images will make great Halloween cards, scrapbook pages and treats.
Thanks so much for visiting.  Now it is time to "hop" over to my friend Lori's Blog
Pin It!

  1. I love the SOTM card! I wasn't going to get that stamp since I already have a few owl stamps but I did order it because I see such cool cards like yours!
