Joyful Stars August Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars Blog Hop and to the brand new products in the Fall & Winter Idea Book.   If you have just visited Elizabeth's Blog , then you are on the right track.
I have been having fun "playing" with the new Artbooking Cricut cartridge and have a card to show you.  This cartridge has so many possibilities it is mind boggling! It is a very simple card - the Artbooking Cartridge did all the work.

I used the overlay (shift) on page 63 of the Artbooking Booklet cut at 4" in Colonial White.  Then I cut 2 strips of Goldrush and Outdoor Denim.  For the middle section, I cut Autumn Terracotta.  The overlay was mounted on Autumn Terracotta Cardstock.  The stamp is the new "Heartfelt Birthday Wish" on page 113 of the new Fall-Winter Idea Book using Black StazOn Ink.  The coloring was done using the Ombre technique.  Using the waterbrush or blending pen, pick up some ink (using the lightest color first) from the lid of the stamp pad.  Then color in the open letters gradually getting darker and darker.  I used Honey, Goldrush, Autumn Terracotta and Outdoor Denim Inks.
Now hop on over to Angelina's Blog to see her beautiful creation!
