A Little Bit of Pun Stamp of the Month Card for Joyful Stars BLog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars December Blog Hop.  If you have come from Krista's Blog, then you are on the right track.  If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of participants on Joyce's Blog. Today, I have a few cards made using the December Stamp of the Month, A Little Bit of Pun. It is a set of 17 stamps and they are perfect for Valentine cards.  You can purchase it for $17.50 or just $5.00 with a $50 order.  It is a great deal!  See your Close To My Heart Consultant or you can order it HERE.

The first card is a 3 x 3 card.  It uses the Adventure Fundamentals Paper and the cupcake stamp.
The watercolor icing was made by dipping the Shimmer Pen into ink from the lid of the Blossom Stamp Pad.  It is hard to see the shimmer in the photo.

The second card is also a 3 x 3 card.  It also uses the Adventure Fundamentals and Cardstock.
I cut the saying from the image, so now I have two stamps.  It makes it easier to stamp the saying separately.  You could also mask part of the stamp instead of cutting it apart.
Even though the images in this set are small, you can easily make a regular size cards simply by mounting the images or repeating them on the card front. For example, the focal image was mounted and then highlighted using the Journaling Pen on the next card.  It uses the "Just My Type" stamp and the Basic Fundamental Papers and Cardstock.
I used the Silver Metallic Marker to highlight some parts of the typewriter and the Watercolor Pencils to color in the other parts of the typewriter.
This card uses the cupcake stamp and the Whimsy Fundamental Paper and Cardstock.  By repeating the image it becomes the focal point of a standard size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) card.
The final card is a 4 x 4 card using the Enchantment Fundamental Papers. The gems were embossed using Silver Embossing Powder.  I also cut the saying from the stamp - it is just a bit easier than masking the saying.
Now it is time to hop on over to Andrea's Blog.  I hope you enjoy hopping with us and be sure to stop back on the 10th of January for our next hop.
Happy Holidays!
