Flower Market Thanks a Bunch Card

There are so many different flowers and containers on the new Close To My Heart Exclusive Flower Market Cricut Cartridge that it is so difficult to chose just one to use.  This card uses the retired Calypso Paper and coordinating Cardstock.

The flowers are on page 22 of the booklet.  Flower 1 was cut in Pear Cardstock, flower 1 Shift was cut in Canary Cardstock and flower 2 was cut in White Daisy Cardstock.  The bowl was "container" on page 26 of the booklet and was cut in Cotton Candy cardstock.  Liquid Glass was applied to the container to make it look like ceramic.  The pink card front was stamped in Cotton Candy Ink on Cotton Candy Paper using one of the background stamps in the Flower Market Collection.  "Thanks" was cut using the new Thin Cuts in Lagoon Cardstock.  "A bunch" is stamped in Black Ink using part of a stamp from the Flower Market Collection.

Joyful Stars October Blog Hop

Welcome to our October Blog Hop.  I'm so happy that you decided to join us today.  If you have come from Stephanie's Blog, you are on the right track.  It is a circular hop, so you can start out anywhere and you will know you are finished when you get back to the first blog.  You can find a list of participants on Joyce's Blog.  Sad to say I have really neglected my blog this past month.  My family went on a fabulous vacation to beautiful Alberta, Canada.  We visited Jasper and Banff National Parks.  I am still trying to get caught up on everything and get back on a schedule.  I am happy to be back to sharing my creations on my blog.  This month, I have been playing with X7211B Jeepers Creepers, the new Halloween Paper in Holiday Expressions.  This fun paper can be used for so much more than just Halloween!  It uses the bright new colors in the Adventure palate.  It is only available until December 31, so don't forget to order your pack.
The card is a faux swing card.  I used the new exclusive ink pads to stamp the creatures. I added wiggly eyes just for fun.  The new pads are wonderful.  They are held closed by magnets and are stored with the pad upside down so the ink is always on the surface.  This card could easily be used for a birthday card simply by changing the sentiment.
Here is a peek at the inside:
