Joyful Stars September Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars September Blog Hop.  If you have come from Joyce's Blog, then you are on the right track. It is a circular hop, so you just hop from one blog to the next until you reach the first blog again.  If you get lost along the way, you can find a list of the participants on Joyce's Blog.  Today, I have a card using products from the new Holiday Expressions.  The wreath was cut from the new Flower Market Cartridge.  It is on page 41 of the booklet cut at 3" in Fern Cardstock.  The wreath was colored using ShinHan markers.  You could cut the wreath from additional colors and add them to the wreath instead of coloring.

Joy (from D1694 Very Merry Stamp set) was heat embossed in gold embossing powder and mounted with foam tape in the center of the wreath on top of the beautiful Sea Glass Glitter Paper.  Don't you just love that sparkle?  The color looks so elegant with the Oh Deer paper too.
It includes sentiments for the inside and outside of a card.  This fabulous set is available in English, Spanish and French!
Here is a peek at the inside of the card.  Another stamp from the Very Merry Stamp Set was used on the inside, along with a strip of the Oh Deer paper.

Products used:
X7214B Oh Deer Paper Packet

Create Kindness Card Kit

Celebrate National Stamping Month this September with hand stamped cards designed to create a little more kindness in the world.  The Create Kindness card kit contains all of the supplies needed to create 24 beautiful, hand made cards that you can use to brighten someone's day!  I just received my kit and could not wait to get started creating.
I used the ShinHan Alcohol markers to color in the stamped images and the fine point journaling pen (these are not included in the kit)  to add a little detail to the circles.  Here are a few close up photos:

Thanks to the pre-printed card bases, these cards come together in no time, leaving you more time to do something thoughtful for someone.  Watch the hashtag #createkindness on Instagram and Facebook to see what acts of kindness these cards are inspiring and join the conversation by posting some pictures of your own.  This fabulous kit is just $46.95 which is 15% off of the retail value!  Want to get your own kit?  Just click on the SHOP button at the top of this page.

Offer valid September 1-30 while supplies last.  Shipping/handling based on the full retail price of discounted items.

Beach Bag Treat Holder

Here it is Labor Day weekend and the unofficial end of summer.  While Fall is my absolute favorite season, I am sad that this year seems to be flying by so quickly!  Today, I have a Beach Bag treat holder to share.  These treats were filled with salt water taffy for the croppers at my August crop.
The beach bag was inspired by a pin on my Treat Holders board on my Pinterest account.  Here is a link to the instructions if you would like to create you own.  I just love saving ideas on Pinterest!  Since I can create and name my boards, it is easy to save and retrieve ideas.   I chose to use X7210B Calypso Paper packet (retired) because I wanted them to look like beach bags.  Tip: When you put together paper intended to hold treats, use Liquid Glass as your adhesive.  It makes the paper very sturdy and your "seams" will not come apart.
Here are photos so you can see the details.

Have a great Labor Day weekend with your friends and family!
